Natalie Hanson, Graduate Fellow

Natalie Hanson, from Waitsfield, VT, expects to graduate from Northwestern University in 2020. She received the QuestBridge College Match Scholarship and pursued Manufacturing and Design Engineering as an undergraduate. During that time, Natalie travelled to San Francisco, Vietnam, and Denmark to work on engineering projects. She designed and renovated classrooms for children with autism, worked on a design team, and was lead driver of a solar car, while honing her woodworking and project development skills under Scandinavian designers.  She also engaged in volunteer community work in Evanston and Copenhagen. In her MS program in Mechanical Engineering, she will specialize in mechatronics and sustainable products for social impact.
